Pancakes

Dry Ingredients Wet Ingredients
  • 5 cup flour
  • 1½ cup milk powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 heaping teaspoons baking powder
  • 4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 5-5½ cups water
  • 1 cup oil

Combine dry ingredients into a 4 litre pail. Transfer to a large zip-lock bag.

Mix dry and wet ingredients to a slightly lumpy consistency in a 4 litre pail. Makes 32 - 40 pancakes.

To make smaller batches, use 1 egg, 1- 1½ cups water, and 1/4 cup cooking oil to 2 1/4 cups of dry ingredients. Makes 8 to 10 pancakes.

Bacon: Use 1 pkg bacon per 4 litre pail. Fry bacon in half strips and include one or two pieces in pancake while cooking.
